Formula 1 in School’s Competition

A group of Year 10 pupils were entered into the Formula 1 in school’s competition. Attending the regional finals in York yesterday, were Bella, Olek, Charlie, Harry and Oliver. The team began working on their competition entry last year, working hard to fund raise, whilst developing their car design and writing the design and an engineering portfolio. They learnt to work as a team, developing skills in 2d and 3d design, CAD, and presentation skills as well as developing their leadership skills along the way. The day was a great success and enjoyed by all.
