Let us be your stepping stone to your next life choice

The high quality support available to students is second to none. This is because the wider Sixth Form team concentrates on developing strong, positive relationships with students:

Sixth form subject teachers work closely with the wider Sixth Form team to provide first class academic support and challenge. Our subject experts are passionate about sharing knowledge and deepening student understanding and enjoyment of their subject.

Each student has a Personal Tutor who closely monitors attendance and punctuality, attainment and achievement and attitude to learning. They are on hand in the Hub every morning and also during fortnightly Personal Development lessons. The Personal Tutor is a first point of contact for students and parents.

The Sixth Form Team is based in the Hub. Having such a central location means that Mr Redhead and Mrs Clayden are highly visible and easy to access throughout the day. We understand that adjusting to the demands of Sixth Form study whilst becoming a young adult in today’s ever changing world comes with a set of new challenges. Students can be confident of our unwavering support while on their personal journeys.

Self-care and wellbeing support is a priority in Sixth Form. We offer:

– A self-care noticeboard.

– Personal development sessions on wellbeing/self-care topics.

– Locala C-Card service in-house.

– Four Sixth Form-only toilets.

– Free period products.

– A prayer room.

– Private meeting space.
