Download pdfWe are looking to appoint a HLTA to join our team as part of the Amelia Salt Centre within the school to cover maternity leave for the remainder of the academic year. You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic, committed professional and will join a dedicated team of staff, to work as directed in meeting the educational and emotional needs with a focus on CIC and PCIC pupils.
The successful candidate will be required to support pupils under the direction of the CiC Leader, working closely with Pastoral Leaders and subject teachers. You will support pupils within the classroom and also on the Amelia Salt Corridor. Support will vary from pupil to pupil and could be a mixture of academic support and emotional regulation. You will be expected to be flexible with your approach to meet the needs of pupils who have adverse childhood experiences. You will keep appropriate records of pupils’ performance and address barriers to learning to enable all pupils to reach their full potential. You will be required to have a HLTA status/QTS or be willing to undertake HLTA training.
