F1 in School’s at Leeds University

The F1 school’s team attended Leeds University in preparation for the Regional Final on the 4 February. The purpose of the day was to allow the teams to test their cars and then look at how to develop and improve their designs. Pupils also had a tour of the Mechanical Engineering Department and chance to ask questions about what its like to study at University. University students also gave helped with their portfolios and aerodynamic testing using the wind tunnel.
