Yorkshire Water

Our Year 11 Chemists visited the Yorkshire Water plant in Headingley this week. Pupils learnt about how water is moved around the county and made potable, as well as ways to save water and what not to flush. We were informed about potential future careers at Yorkshire Water and some of the fantastic apprenticeship and graduate programs they have to offer. The morning then finished off with a tour of the water treatment plant wearing some very fashionable PPE!
