Titus Salt School celebrates another fantastic year of A-Level results with learners securing places at top University
14/08/2025

Results Day was a joyous occasion with proud students, parents/carers and teachers all joining in the celebrations. It is always a pleasure to see our Year 13 learners return for their A Level and Vocational Level results, but this year has been the most positive yet. We have bettered our excellent results from last year with even higher grades and achievements.
We had a 100% pass rate in both A Level, Vocational and Technical subjects with our average grade at A Level being a grade B, Vocational a Distinction and Technical Distinction*.
Over 29% of our A Level entries were awarded grades A* to A and over 87% of students gained between an A* and C grade. Over 90% of our students gained a place at their first choice university and we have other students who have secured Higher Apprenticeship positions with nationally recognised Apprenticeship providers.
Congratulations to Sam C and Finn M on securing their place to study Veterinary Medicine and Engineering at Cambridge University. Sam achieved A* A* A A A and Finn achieved A*A* A* A* A* at A Level.
Their approach to learning has been exemplary and their ambition and determination have secured them some amazing results. Their ability and understanding in their chosen subjects are outstanding and we are confident that they will continue to succeed in their studies at Cambridge University. Well done.
Director of Sixth Form, Martyn Redhead said: Today is an immensely proud day for the school and our Sixth Form. The combination of hard work from the students, the support from home and the outstanding teaching of our subjects by our dedicated staff has culminated in our best ever results at Key Stage 5 and some extremely happy students who are moving on to their chosen next steps. These results show how strong our Sixth Form has become since Covid and what an attractive choice of provider we are for any students wanting to move into Higher Education. A huge congratulation to all our students and we wish them all the best for the future plans.
Headteacher, Mr Phil Temple said: “This is a fantastic set of results for school. Sam and Finn deserve this success for all their hard work over the years. We are incredibly proud of, and delighted for both of them, as we are with all our students who received their results today.”
