Students are Life Savers

Our students have been given the opportunity to do something amazing and become potential lifesavers for people with blood cancer and blood disorders.

Two weeks ago volunteers from Anthony Nolan Trust attended our Personal Development lesson to talk about Hero Project, a lifesaving stem cell donation programme, as well as other ways to save a life such as blood and organ donation.

This week, volunteers Mary, Chris and Jean returned to help willing donors sign up for the stem cell register. It was a busy donor event and many students signed up.
