Senior Student Leaders Take Up Post

Welcome to the school’s first Senior Student Leaders, Zaid and Rebecca from Year 12.

The pair impressed Mr Temple, Mr Redhead and Mr Halliwell with their excellent applications and well-executed interviews.

Zaid and Rebecca will play an important role in promoting academic achievement for all students through the use of projects and initiatives. They will work closely alongside two Year 10 counterparts and the school’s leadership team.

Rebecca is keen to use her experience of struggling to access education when she was younger to encourage pupils to get the most out of their time in school.

Zaid is keen to boost morale and help pupils develop a more positive outlook toward exams.
