AI Adventures!

Our Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils took part in the ‘AI adventures’ and ‘What can a computer learn from your voice?’ workshops. In the workshops pupils learnt how decision trees are used by AI tools. Pupils used interactive software that allowed them to record their voices and have the computer predict their age. Pupils also explored the concept of real-time object detection and were introduced to the exciting technology behind self-driving cars, robotic automation, and facial recognition. Pupils had the opportunity to get hands-on with some AI object detection tools, where AI software was used to detect and classify objects.
