We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic, committed professional as a Leader of Business and Economics within the Computing, Business, Economics and Media (CBEM) Faculty. The successful candidate will be an inspiring practitioner able to make a significant contribution towards supporting our drive to continue raising achievement and standards, in both academic and vocational courses, at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, as well as continuing to generate excitement and enthusiasm for learning Business and Economics. This is an important middle leadership role; the successful candidate will have the ability to articulate their vision for the development of the department and its contribution to whole school improvement.

The CBEM Faculty has developed an excellent reputation, driving up standards and securing achievement for all through innovation and creative approaches to learning. We are now looking to recruit a colleague who has a passion for Business and Economics to ensure that all pupils receive the highest quality education at all times.

We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school that has outstanding facilities and a state of the art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield and offers an outstanding NQT induction programme.
