50.3% of grades were at A*-B for A-level, with 27.8% at A*-A, above the national average and 12% up on last year. 56% of students received at least one Distinction* or Distinction for their vocational courses.
Headteacher, Ian Morrel said “Congratulations to all our Year 13 students who have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results – they are a brilliant set of results.
We are very proud of our students’ achievements, especially considering the challenges they have faced throughout their years in school.
I also want to congratulate and thank parents and carers, who have supported the students throughout their journey. And thank you to TSS staff, who work so hard to ensure students achieve their potential.”
Director of Sixth Form, Martyn Redhead says: ” Congratulations on another fantastic year of Level 3 results for our Denys Salt Sixth Formers at Titus Salt School.
I am so proud of the hard work and resilience shown by all our students, and myself and Mrs Clayden, our Sixth Form Manager, would like to wish everyone the very best of luck as they move on to the next big steps in their life, whether that be university, an apprenticeship or the world of work.
We would also like to thank our parents and carers for their support over the last two years, as well as acknowledging the dedication of our Sixth Form teaching staff and tutors who always go above and beyond in the support of our students both academically and sometimes more importantly with their wellbeing during what can be a stressful journey. “
