Year 10 GCSE Religious Studies pupils have been gaining insight into the challenges Christians face in a modern secular Britain.

The group visited St Peter’s Church in Shipley to meet the Reverend John Rainer and find out more about the history of the church and the unique experience it offers those who visit, whether it be as a member of the congregation or as a visitor interested in the architecture and internal design.

The Reverend gave his personal views on the impact of the church worldwide and the differences between liturgical and non liturgical worship. To find out more about opportunities in Religious Studies visit @TSSRSE.
