Pupil Achievements
Joseph the Musical
This year’s production saw ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ arrive at Titus Salt School! Rehearsals for the classic musical began in October and dedicated pupils showed their acting, dance and musical flair on the stage over three performances. Talented pupils were also involved with the technical and backstage aspects of the production too, including lighting, sound and stage management.
Athletic Success
What a start to the Spring Term, two teams bring home Gold! Both Year 7 and Year 8 girls’ athletics teams competed in the recent Bradford Athletics Finals and after a gruelling afternoon of competition, both teams were triumphant and placed top of the leader board. It was a hard competition where they faced strong opposition in the track events, up against some excellent runners. We excelled in the field, with determination and athletic ability and conquered to become the overall winners!

University STEM Outreach Programme
At TSS we are passionate about STEM and want to encourage and support any pupils that consider a STEM career beyond secondary school education. As part of the “E is for Engineering” University STEM outreach project run by Leeds University, TSS is working collaboratively to help develop this project in the hope to see more girls consider STEM at university level as well as employment. The aim of the project is to educate pupils on STEM careers, giving them different opportunities within STEM during their secondary school life, from Year 7 through to Year 13.
Pupils raise money for charity
Our Designated Specialist Provision (DSP) Christmas Fair was once again a great success. Organised by our DSP staff and pupils this event is always very popular with everyone; with amazing handicrafts made by our DSP pupils, yummy cakes, treats galore, including snowman soup and raffles, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. As usual the footfall was high with pupils, parents and visitors from other schools across Bradford.
