We are proud to announce that we have been successful in our bid to receive the Excellence in STEM Award.

This prestigious award run through the National STEM Centre and the National Science and Media museum was awarded to school to validate the emphasis on STEM within school. What makes this award even more exciting is that we were the first school in West Yorkshire to receive it!

Projects such as the Premier Farnell challenge, a project that has lead our successful Year 13 learners to showcasing their invention in the next UK wide Big Bang competition. Also the Arris Consumer Electronic project which our Year 9 pupils competed in and not forgetting the excellent up take of STEM club and all the STEM related extra-curricular activities which pupils and staff put so much time and effort into have made an excellent contribution to us receiving this award.

We look forward to working towards achieving the award for many years to come.
