To support the science curriculum Year 10 pupils have taken part in the Biology Challenge hosted by the Royal Society of Biology.

This national annual competition involving many schools across the country allowed pupils the opportunity to show their understanding of science both within and beyond the curriculum. The results of the online challenge have been published and many pupils received commendations for their excellent results.

Tom Brown, Josh Hughes, Patrycja Baginska, Victor Bradbury, Ariana Hastie, Will Austin, Molly Pickles, Jenna Pilkington, Toby Woledge-Wilkinson, received Bronze. Jack Worthington, Chloe Hall and Ray Smith received Silver and Lewis Forrest received top prize, with the first ever Gold for TSS; Lewis has now been invited to attend an awards ceremony in London to receive his award.

Leader of Biology, Mrs Stansbie said: “What an amazing achievement for Lewis, he should feel very proud and well done to everyone who took part.”
