Route B Route B is the Vocational/ Technical route and offers access to a range of two year Level 3 courses. This route is likely to be the best for you if you have achieved mostly grades 4-5 at GCSE (or equivalent). You will need to have achieved grade 4-5 in English Language and Mathematics also. Vocational/Technical Route B Vocational/Technical Additional Level 3 Qualifications - 1 year The Extended Project Qualification EPQ is equivalent to ½ an A Level and involves students undertaking an independent project. Students are fully supported through the process. Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) is equivalent to an AS Level. Students focus on developing their quantitative and problem solving skills.
