By programming a Lego robot to complete challenges alongside conducting a research project, Titus Salt School’s Lego Robotics Club hope to impress a judging panel of local industry experts with their creative and innovative solutions to transportations biggest challenges.

Year 9 STEM pupils are preparing to compete in this year’s First Lego League Competition. This year’s theme, Cargo Connect, focuses on transportation and the challenges logistics companies face as the ever-increasing supply and demand of products and materials is pushed to its limits.

The team is investigating modern problems faced in this industry such as the threat of AI Driven technologies replacing longstanding human ran operations. The threat of vital resources, raw materials and fuels running out and searching for alternative sustainable options without the disruption of a supply chain.
