Cultural Olympics - Non uniform day

On Friday 16 March we held an Olympic themed non uniform day with students dressing in the colours of the Olympic rings; green, red, blue, black and yellow.
We raised over £1000 - half going to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The Lord Mayor's office asked us to take photos so they can be displayed in the town hall and our Year 12 photography students rose to the challenge.
They selected Year 7 students wearing the most striking coloured outfits and used them to create the Olympic rings. To add a final twist, some of the students were then snapped taking part in ‘comical fake’ Olympic events.
