"Titus Salt School is a good school which provides outstanding care, guidance and support." Ofsted, 2010
Welcome to our school.
We are proud to be part of a community where everyone:
Enjoys learning
Is helpful and polite
Works hard to achieve the best they can
Treats others and the environment with respect
Takes responsibility for themselves and their actions
We are all proud of our reputation as a caring school which places the individual at the very heart of what we do. Visitors to our school regularly comment upon the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the positive relationship between staff and students.
We are a school with great aspirations; proud of our history and heritage yet always looking to the future - celebrating student wellbeing, high academic standards and achievement for all. We firmly believe that we are a school in which your child can achieve and be inspired.
Titus Salt School boasts impressive facilities including:
First class sporting facilities such as a climbing wall and all weather pitchesExtensive access to ICT to support teaching and learningSome of the best creative, performing arts and design technology facilitiesSpecialist curriculum provision equipped to industry standard 'Break out' spaces for students to be able to learn independently in a supervised but open environment.
We work closely with our local primaries and welcome members of the community into our school every evening. The community makes great use of our sporting and ICT provision and our primary school links ensure that their students reap the benefits of all that we can offer.
We are delighted that our latest Ofsted report mirrors our own analysis of the school's strengths and future targets. Inspectors stated that, "students enjoy coming to school", "the curriculum is very strong" and that "extra-curricular provision is outstanding ".
These judgements reflect the commitment, dedication and support of the partnership between students, parents/carers and teaching staff. It is against this backdrop that we continue to achieve success at GCSE and Post-16; with strong recruitment at all levels of the school.
There is a real sense of pride and ambition, coupled with excitement and enjoyment that provides opportunities for everyone to achieve their best.
